Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a right winger. He currently plays for Liverpool.
He excelled at FC Basel until he was signed by Chelsea on January 26, 2014, on a five-and-a-half-year contract.
On 22 June 2017, he signed for Liverpool for €42 million plus €8 million in bonuses, becoming the most expensive African player in history. The striker received the number 11 shirt, previously belonging to Roberto Firmino who started to wear the number 9.
